Exclusive: World Confectionery Conference to make Brussels return

Following successful celebrations for Confectionery Production’s 90th anniversary with our latest live event, the World Confectionery Conference is set to return next autumn, writes Neill Barston.
This year’s show was held at the Brussels NHow hotel in Belgium, and we shall be making a return to the city on 11 September 2025 to once gather to discuss major topics influencing the sector.
As we found at this year’s show, there were no shortages of subject matter under the microscope, from pivotal environmental legislation impacting on industry, through to latest innovations in finished products and ingredients, the complete value chain of the industry was represented once again.

With conditions across the sector finely balanced, there will surely be plenty of valuable networking points on the day, as well as the return of our popular World Confectionery Awards. From the encouraging feedback we have received in the weeks since the show, there was a significant amount of positivity regarding the event, with Brussels remaining a strong natural home for the conference as a key confectionery hub for the region.
