Brussels Airport (BRU) is located approximately 17 miles, 25 minutes from Brussels Grand Place.
There are always taxis with a time metre in front of the arrivals hall. Licensed metred taxis can be identified by the yellow-blue licence marks in front of the arrival halls. A taxi from the airport to the centre of Brussels costs around 45 euros.
De Lijn provides a bus service to the area surrounding the airport and Brussels city centre.
The train station is located directly under the departures and arrivals halls, at level -1. The platform is easily reached by lift or escalator. With the train, you can travel from Brussels Airport to various Belgian cities or to Belgium’s neighbours.
Passports should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in Brussels.
Visa requirements differ from country to country. It is advised to check from an Belgian consulate in your country if you need a visa before your departure to Brussels, Belgium.
