With such a fine response to our debut World Confectionery Conference that attracted hundreds of online visitors from around the globe, we are pressing full steam ahead in unveiling plans for our physical event in Brussels next year.

The date has been set for 9 September 2022, so we anticipate that there will be plenty of interest from across our respective industries, who are all looking forward to opportunities to meet in person next year with friends and colleagues from across the sector whom we have not had chance to meet with in far too long.

It was personally very encouraging to see the level of engagement for this year’s event which has been held amid unprecedented conditions in the global pandemic that has caused significant business disruption across all spheres of industry over nearly 18 months.

So next year’s event will indeed be something special to look forward to at our originally intended venue of the Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place, featuring a full conference programme and our accompanying exhibition, celebrating the latest key developments across global confectionery, bakery and snacks markets.

Our showcase will also revive our plans for an awards ceremony, marking some of the most notable achievements across our industries, aiming to recognise the efforts of those who have kept companies going through some of the most challenging conditions possible in recent times.

There has clearly been a strong pipeline of creativity and innovation around the world, which we are very much looking forward to honouring in Brussels next year – so don’t be shy in putting entries forward in the coming months ahead, which will help ensure our event even more memorable and enjoyable for all involved.
