Mintel brings major industry insights to the World Confectionery Conference

World Confectionery Conference Brussels - 12 September 2024

Insights and industry education will form a key element of this year’s conference, and we’ll be welcoming back Mintel’s associate director Honorata Jarocka to shed some valuable light on key developments across the sector, writes Neill Barston.

With nearly twenty years of experience in market research and a strong interest in health and wellbeing, she has been part of the leading research and insights group for over a decade.

The group has remained one of the most respected organisations operating across the food and drink sector, and Honorata’s contribution last year offered plenty of discussion points for attendees. (You can register for this year’s event at the Brussels Marriott Hotel, Grand Place via the following link).

She will be joining our event on 11 September in the Belgian capital offering some significant reflections on the evolution of this ever-vibrant sector that has shown notable movement in hard candy confectionery, chocolate and snacking markets (see our exclusive video review of last year’s event below).

Honorata’s previous experience prior to joining Mintel includes working within the Euromonitor International insights group, as well as Polish clothing giant LPP. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Marketing from the Poznań University of Economics and Business in Poland.

Editor Neill Barston commented: “Education and insights on major developments within the confectionery sector have formed an especially strong aspect of our offering as a conference, and it is excellent to see Honorata returning from Mintel to provide some extremely valuable reflections on how the market is continuing to rapidly evolve.

“As we have already seen at ISM and Sweets & Snacks Expo so far this year, manufacturers have engaged in responding to consumers’ ever greater demands for new flavours, tastes and textures, which we are set to explore as part of our event this year in Brussels. We encourage as many of you as possible to register for our what we are anticipating will prove another engaging and diverse event spanning our confectionery value chain.
