Exclusive: World Confectionery Conference Brussels venue confirmed

The World Confectionery Conference set for the Grand Place in Brussels

As we rapidly approach key Christmas celebrations, Confectionery Production can confirm that our next edition of the World Confectionery Conference is set to return on 11 September 2025 at the Brussels Marriott, Grand Place, in Belgium.

The venue previously served successfully as the meeting place for our debut live event back in 2022, with our plans for the next edition fast taking shape as a key date in the diary for the sector.

Ferrero has already confirmed that it will be among core companies returning to play its part on our 2025 key industry gathering, as outlined in our exclusive interview with Francesco Tramontin, of the business, which you can watch below.

Our 2025 edition of the World Confectionery Conference will also see a return for our World Confectionery Awards, celebrating the achievements of equipment, ingredients and finished product businesses from around the globe, as well as emerging enterprises.

Editor Neill Barston commented: “As we close another extremely busy year for our publication as it celebrated its 90th anniversary, we are glad to announce that our next edition will once again return to the location that set off our conference in fine style.

“Our 2025 event comes at an especially notable period for the industry, with major legislation on the horizon with the EUDR regulations and broader due diligence laws coming into lend greater protections for key cocoa supply chains, as well as continuing inflationary test, as well as major technology innovations in the form of AI and robotics, as well as ingredients advances, that are helping transform our global industry. All these core subjects are set to come under the microscope as we make a renewed return to Brussels.

“It has been a great pleasure continuing to see our event evolve and develop, so we warmly welcome as many of you as possible to participate in this next edition in Belgium, which remains a core hub of confectionery manufacturing and policy making for the sector. Our events can only ever be as strong as the engagement we have with them, so thank you for your continued support, and enjoy this festive time ahead, as another significant year for our sector rapidly beckons.”
